I have heard about a software named Krita and I have seen amazing works done with it so, out of curiosity, I checked it out and, surprisingly, it is free ! I decided to try it and see if it is worthy. It is actually amazing ! However I had to deal with my computer slowing down dramatically and several crashes, also, I had to learn the basic features of this software.

Krita has better tools for selection editing  and also text. The brushes are really interesting and there are also brushes for vectors. I will definitely keep it on my computer !

That being said I will not replace GIMP for now as I have some brushes and settings that are not compatible with Krita. I will actually use both !
